Job description

Our Client is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with the capabilities to also serve as the team lead for a growing mechanical design team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, offering the opportunity to take on a leadership position within an innovative product development environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and technical direction to the local mechanical design team.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, and overall team coordination.
• Collaborate closely with tool design teams based in Singapore to ensure seamless integration.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives through close collaboration with manufacturing sites.
• Assist development project teams across global locations, ensuring cohesive project execution.
• Partner with local management and sales teams to contribute to budgeting and quotation processes for both new and existing projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product design.
• Candidates who have working experience in leading a small team is preferred.
