We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Card Product Management. 

  • Review competitive analysis and drive portfolio and retention initiatives to achieve business plans
  • Set direction to product offerings to meet consumers’ changing needs and competitiveness
  • Establish business model, review and formulate product strategy to ensure product profitability
  • Introduce sales tools to facilitate the sales process where applicable
  • Review retention strategy and pricing empowerment to retain profitable customers
  • Review credit policy with WPB Risk to drive risk reward balance
  • Review processes with support units and to establish and communicate business goals
  • strategize marketing plan to ensure sufficient product awareness programmes to drive leads to deliver business results
  • Implement acquisition and retention initiatives to meet financial objectives set
  • Develop business proposals and establish business case for each initiative
  • Enhance customer experience and satisfaction through on-going review of product offerings, process streamlining, automation initiatives to improve efficiency and cost reduction and improvement in the onboarding journey
  • Provide business requirements and UAT support for projects
  • Define customer segments in conjunction with Propositions and Research Team
  • Draw up extraction criteria per segment-specific programme
  • Evaluate and improve on offers for each segment
  • Work with Marketing to ensure effective utilization of budget to drive acquisition and product awareness
  • Implement campaigns according to schedule and approved marketing budget
  • Track campaigns effectiveness and identify key learnings

Requirements

  • Degree holder with minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer credit cards within banking
  • In depth understanding of customer segmentation, marketing, acquisition and regulatory environment surrounding consumer credit cards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact and work with a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
