Position Overview

The Centre of Prog Management - New Facilities (CoPM - NF) Project Manager's role is to establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices to ensure the success of the programme. This includes planning detailed engagement strategies, defining objectives, policies, and securing funding. You are expected to perform detailed analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive key insights for planning work streams to achieve desired outcomes. You should be able to see interconnections, anticipate operational issues across all parts of the programme, and develop effective strategies to address them.

Role & Responsibilities

• Gather IT requirements for new healthcare facilities.
• Track and review submissions from various Application and Infrastructure Teams.
• Compile and collate information for submission.
• Work with various forums to obtain approval and funding, including preparing slides and approval papers.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with scope and timeline.
• Highlight issues encountered and potential risks.
• Provide regular progress updates to management.
• Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
• Coordinate with project teams during implementation, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support, following project methodologies and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related disciplines.
• 1-5 years of healthcare IT experience.
• Preferably PMP or equivalent certification.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
