Job Description

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to develop deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and collaborates with Singapore-based research institutions, AI startups, and companies to conduct use-inspired research, grow knowledge, create tools, and develop talent to support Singapore's AI initiatives.

As Head of Strategy, Partnerships and Growth at AI Products, you will develop strategies to enable and accelerate AI Singapore’s SEA-LION initiative, focusing on training foundation/large language models, building datasets, evaluation benchmarks, and developer tools. You will establish and grow partnerships across government, private sector, and academia in Southeast Asia and globally, fostering a healthy ecosystem to sustain the SEA-LION initiative and promote adoption and value creation.

Responsibilities

1. Contribute to the overall team strategy, focusing on partnership and growth.
2. Communicate strategy and value propositions to stakeholders.
3. Identify suitable commercial use-cases and drive their adoption of SEA-LION products.
4. Develop and expand partnerships in Singapore and internationally to support the SEA-LION project and position AISG as a key player in Singapore’s AI landscape.
5. Negotiate with entities locally and abroad to promote adoption of AI Singapore’s LLM solutions.
6. Set goals, establish systems for progress tracking, and report regularly to stakeholders.
7. Manage relationships with government entities, funding bodies, and governing committees.
8. Build and lead a high-performance team, fostering a world-class organizational culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in partnership management, marketing, project management, or loyalty marketing.
• Strong understanding of customer profiling based on behavior and demographics.
• Data-driven, creative, and resourceful mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities, take initiative, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in IT disciplines, experience with various tools and solutions; open-source contributions are a plus.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI research and trends, especially their application to real-world problems.
• Experience as a startup entrepreneur, within large organizations, in the public sector, or with policy interests is advantageous.
