FINANCE AND ADMIN ASSOCIATE

The Finance and Admin Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the finance and administrative functions. This role includes bookkeeping, accounts payable, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is meticulous, well-organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Descriptions

Finance:

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintenance of general ledgers.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with accounts payable, invoice management, billing, and processing of claims.
  • Assist in internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Support coordination and follow-up on insurance matters and grant applications.

Admin:

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain office inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
  • Support in business travel arrangements and expense claims.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for documentation and correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing office events and providing logistical support as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties and handle special projects as assigned.


Requirements

  • Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in both finance and administrative functions.
  • Possesses a positive working attitude, is detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
