Job description

As an Engineer(Facilities Management & Engineering), you will assist in managing the contracted services forrepair, preventive maintenance and/or new construction of building facilities and grounds to ensure compliance with statutory and user requirements. Specifically, you will develop and direct initiatives to maintain and operate building facilities and systems to meet building operational requirements and ensure safe system operations. Other duties include rendering technical assistance with regard to maintenance planning, budgeting for projects and ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Facilities Management with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior training in management roles and supervisory experience of maintenance services for healthcare buildings and facilities would be advantageous
  • Exposure to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning trades is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
