East Singapore | Aerospace Sector | Team Leadership Role
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for driving operational excellence? We are hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for a 2-year contract with a globally recognized aerospace company based in East Singapore. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading teams toward high performance, this opportunity is for you.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide manufacturing technicians to meet daily production goals, ensuring top-notch product quality and on-time delivery.
Production Oversight: Manage cell output, track operational performance, and drive productivity through effective scheduling and resource planning.
Strategic Planning: Analyze workload and forecast demand 3–6 months ahead to align daily part scheduling and material release strategies.
Machine Uptime Champion: Enforce TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices among operators to maximize machine availability and reduce downtime.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve workflow efficiency and quality.
People Management: Handle team performance, discipline, safety compliance, and attendance to ensure a motivated and accountable workforce.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and recommend improvements in manufacturing processes to boost operational effectiveness.
Talent Development: Mentor and coach technicians, set clear job expectations, and support skills development to enhance team capabilities.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide performance insights and operational updates to leadership as needed.
Versatile Role: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager to support team and business goals.
A Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of shopfloor operations, people management, and lean production principles.
Willingness and ability to work on fortnightly rotating shifts.
