OCBC Securities, a subsidiary of OCBC, seeks a qualified candidate to assist with the Margin Migration project and other delivery initiatives. We are looking for a skilled Technical Specialist for our OSPL IT Engineering department. You will oversee the technical aspects of the Equity Backoffice Application project.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the technical team in planning, designing, and executing the Margin Migration and other projects.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Solution, Project Managers, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Dealers to gather requirements and define project objectives.
3. Develop and implement technical strategies to ensure smooth migration processes.
4. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Conduct progress meetings and report project status to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
6. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
7. Stay updated with industry trends related to margin systems and technologies.
8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless system integration.
9. Support user acceptance testing and post-migration activities with technical expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of Backoffice Application Support experience on local/foreign exchanges for equity markets.
• Knowledge of financial market products and order management flows. Independent, proactive, with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
• Preferred knowledge of NovaCAS, Margin, and Control-M.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in margin migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of securities, margin systems, processes, and technologies.
• Support experience with Windows, Unix, and Oracle systems is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Unix scripting, Control M Scheduler, Crystal Reports, PLSQL, and SQL with platforms like SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with DevOps tools (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence, Junit, Jenkins) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
