Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance, along with the ability to lead and mentor junior staffs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of accounting functions including AR, AP, and GL
Prepare financial statements in compliance with SFRS and other relevant international GAAP.
Assist clients with the preparation and filing of quarterly GST returns, annual tax computations, and submissions to IRAS.
Review and analyze monthly management accounts and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal standards and client requirements.
Coordinate audit schedules, address auditor queries, and prepare necessary financial documentation.
Provide guidance and supervision to account executives, fostering a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with management to improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and processes.
Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of SFRS and other international GAAP.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Experience with GST, tax compliance, and knowledge of IRAS regulations.
Preferably Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident.
