Job Brief:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Software Engineer to join our OSS team, focusing on Service Order Orchestration configuration & development to support our Software-Defined Network (SDN).
Responsibilities
Configure and implement network provisioning automation and service delivery workflows using orchestration platforms.
Work with Catalog-Driven Fulfillment frameworks to design service models and workflows.
Develop and maintain lightweight Network Element Interfaces (NEI) using Java for integrating network devices and services.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless service rollout.
Assist in the onboarding of new network services and technologies on the orchestration platform.
Continuously improving automation processes to enhance service activation efficiency and reduce manual interventions
Requirements
Basic understanding of telecom networks, including concepts like IP, MPLS, SDN, DWDM, and network services.
Familiarity or willingness to learn Service Orchestration platforms (e.g., TMF Open APIs, TOSCA, Nokia FlowOne, Blue Planet, etc).
Basic programming skills in Java (comfortable reading and writing small modules for integration purposes).
Interest in network automation tools and protocols (NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG Models, Ansible, RestAPI).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of Telecom BSS/OSS systems and fulfilment processes.
Exposure to workflow tools like Camunda, Apache NiFi, or similar.
Understanding of APIs and integration patterns (REST/SOAP).
Individuals who are passionate about network technologies and want to specialize in network automation and orchestration rather than pure software development.
