Early Years Educator

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum and programmes
  • Plan developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to the relevant curricula frameworks
  • Design developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources to enhance quality of learning environment
  • Evaluate documentations of children’s learning and development to better inform planning and teaching
• Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships
  • Foster relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and M.Y World
• Manage family and community programmes
  • Develop M.Y World, family and community initiatives and programmes
  • Develop outreach activities to promote the M.Y World’s programmes and services
• Conduct routine caregiving
  • Review results of routine caregiving assessment
  • Guide routine caregiving practices in accordance with standards and procedures
  • Evaluate routine caregiving improvements
• Uplift professional practice
  • Co-develop appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools
