Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood.
• Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or Education or equivalent.
• Teacher Certificates or accreditation if degree not in Education.
• IB PYP course and training are highly valued.
• Knowledge of inquiry-based learning required.

Responsibilities

• Respect and value each child’s social, cultural and religious background with example-based tolerance.
• Share in managing pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all pupils.
• Undertake teaching of a class in line with school policies and guidelines.
• Use diverse teaching and caring methods to ensure high-quality learning.
• Plan documents with objectives, differentiation, and assessment for the Principal or authorized officer.
• Maintain professional dialogue with colleagues and keep information confidential.
• Ensure equal opportunities for all students.
• Collaborate with Principal and staff on pupil assessment and moderation portfolios.
• Build positive links with parents and guide classroom helpers.
