Job description

Early Intervention Teacher – Metta Preschool @ Punggol

At Metta Preschool (Punggol), we support children aged 2–6 with mild to moderate autism, developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities. Since 2010, our early intervention programs have helped young learners reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Your Role:
As an Early Intervention Teacher, you’ll implement a structured curriculum, create a safe and engaging classroom, and work with a transdisciplinary team to support each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver interactive lessons based on our early intervention curriculum

  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs

  • Track student progress and maintain records

  • Collaborate with therapists on IEPs and goal setting

  • Organize outings, enrichment activities, and classroom events

  • Mentor new staff and interns through On-the-Job Training (OJT)

  • Ensure compliance with ISO and NCSS/MSF standards

  • Support other tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood / Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (SDESN) preferred

  • Experience in preschool or special needs settings is a bonus

  • Patient, passionate, and team-oriented

  • Strong in planning, adaptable, and eager to learn

Location: Punggol
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
