Job summary

Busy Bees Asia is seeking an EI Specialist to lead a class and support young children with special needs, adapting instruction and using positive reinforcement. You will plan and write IEPs and term reports, and collaborate with educators to implement strategies during lessons.

The role requires a Diploma in Special Education, at least two years in the field, and the ability to work independently and within a team as part of Busy Bees Asia's commitment to high-quality early childhood education

Qualifications

• Requires L2 Diploma in Special Education (Special Needs Early Intervention).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in special education.

Responsibilities

• Lead a class and accommodate the diverse needs of young children.

• Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies.
• Plan and write children’s IEP and term progress reports.
• Implement special educational strategies and techniques during lesson.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily student record.
• Provide different variety of instructional practices.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and resource needs.
