Share Software Engineer, Safe Coding Team

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).

• Knowledge of software supply chain security issues, vulnerability management, or related fields.
• Active participation in open-source development, or working on projects with heavy open-source dependencies.
• A passion for designing seamless, intuitive developer experiences and workflows.

In this role, you will play a massive part in establishing our engineering culture and bringing innovation to our new location. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional software engineering. Dive into the codebase, build robust solutions, and be a foundational contributor.
• Partner closely with technical leads, product managers, and technical program managers to execute on the team's goal and bring our Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy to life.
• Stay on the rapidly developing agentic threat landscape and boldly embrace the dynamically changing AI environment. Move fast, write exceptional code, and think outside the box to engineer new solutions to old problems.
• Collaborate with partner teams in Google's Software Supply Chain Integrity program and engineering stakeholders to seamlessly integrate our security solutions.
