Senior / Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas Sector) - KP
Our client is seeking a high-performing, commercially minded Senior / Business Development Manager to take ownership of the growth strategy in the fuel and energy sector. You will lead a dynamic Field and Indoor Sales team while driving strategic initiatives to expand the company’s presence in the region.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on achieving ambitious targets, building high-impact partnerships, and driving cross-border business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through market research, lead generation, networking, and targeted outreach.
Translate customer needs into tailored solutions that deliver measurable value and foster long-term loyalty.
Own the full sales process — from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and closure.
Define and implement a clear roadmap for penetrating and expanding the fuel and energy distribution market.
Identify untapped market segments, build value-driven solutions, and execute go-to-market strategies to win new accounts.
Cultivate long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, including oil majors, commercial operators, and industrial clients.
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, motivation, and development of the Sales team.
Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and customer-centric selling.
Set clear performance targets (KPIs), implement tracking systems, and provide coaching to ensure consistent achievement.
Prepare data-driven sales forecasts and business reports for executive leadership.
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform decision-making and refine strategy.
Present actionable recommendations that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 8 years of proven success in business development, sales, or strategic growth within the oil & gas, fuel logistics, B2B energy, or related sectors.
A commercially driven professional with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
Experience scaling high-performance sales teams, with strong people management capabilities.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders across industries.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop strategic plans and execute under pressure.
A hands-on leader who is both strategically minded and execution focused.
