Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver technically sound solutions aligned with client project requirements.
2. Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules for assigned projects.
3. Assist the Professional Engineer in managing project preparation, liaising, and following up with authorities for submissions and approvals.
4. Coordinate with clients, architects, QS, and other project consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Supervise and guide project team members.
6. Act as project manager when required.
7. Implement QA/QC procedures.
8. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic with over 5 years of experience in engineering design consulting for Building Services projects.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board, with over 3 years of relevant experience.
3. Professional Engineer status is advantageous.
4. Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in design software.
5. Good supervision and project management skills.
6. Excellent knowledge of local codes and authority submission procedures.
7. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
8. Leadership skills to lead project teams successfully.
9. Strong analytical skills preferred.
10. Effective time and resource management skills.
