A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage purchase orders, product development, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement processes, strong communication skills, and a background in supply chain management. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and improving procurement efficiency.
As the Procurement Executive, you are expected to perform the following key responsibilities:
Purchase Order Management
• Responsible to ensure day to day purchase orders fulfilment from Singapore and International Regions.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels
• Minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
• Responsible to handle day to day purchasing activities such as out of stock, pricing adjustment, customer complaint on product quality and etc.
Product Development and Sourcing
• Responsible for product development project which assigned by Assistant Procurement Manager including of: -
(a) Initial Planning, Requirement Gathering and Market Research
(b) Supplier Identification and Evaluation
(c) Supplier Engagement, Site Visit and Negotiation
(d) Prototype and Sample Testing
(e) Supplier Collaboration and Feedback
(f) Procurement and Order Placement
(g) Quality Assurance and Compliance
(h) Documentation and Record Keeping
Compliance and Contract Management
• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement-related contracts, amendments, and communications.
• Responsible to handle audit procedures which relate to procurement department.
• Responsible to update quarterly HPB report.
Procurement Process and Data Management
• Assist with implementation of procurement SOPs and identify processes for efficiency improvement.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of product data within the ERP system.
• Other ah-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Requirement
• Possess minimum Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have at least minimum 2 years working experience in related field.
• Experience with product development, supplier sourcing, and quality assurance processes.
• Proficient in ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong ability to manage inventory levels, forecast needs and minimise excess stock and costs.
• Skilled in supplier evaluation, negotiation and product quality management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective supplier engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, contracts and procurement records accurately.
