Job description

Responsibilities:

· Provide design support for product modifications, function improvements, cost reductions, manufacturing process improvements and other technical specifications.

· Produce technical specifications, requisitions, and detailed mechanical drawings to client and other stakeholders.

· Verify regulatory compliance with relevant departments.

· Ensure the proper indexing, filing, and storage of drawings.

· Working closely with production department to generate shop drawings and standardisation of parts for fabrication.

· Create test plan and perform mechanical verification and support product verification and validation to fulfil product requirements.

· Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements: ·

· Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· At least 3 years of engineering design experience in mechanical fixtures and specialized structures for manufacturing/production needs.

· Proficient engineering design software such as AutoCAD / AutoDesk Inventor / SolidWorks etc.

· Good fundamentals technical knowledge preferable in steel structure and fixture.

· Experience in BIM will be an advantage.

· Proactive, Meticulous & strong analytical skills.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Willing travel to overseas when necessary.
