YOUR CHALLENGE

Design System, UI Design

1. Work with Figma as our central design tool.
2. Create UI components and patterns ready for handover to development.
3. Lead the central Design System team at Julius Baer.
4. Focus on enabling structures for team performance.
5. Define, maintain, and prioritize the Design System backlog, balancing interests of decentralized teams.
6. Manage team priorities: allocate tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress.
7. Design for Desktop and Mobile, including native iOS and Android apps, and web applications, considering different screen sizes and resolutions.
8. Shape the Design System vision and strategy, effectively communicating it to management.
9. Educate stakeholders about the value and benefits of the design system.
10. Engage key stakeholders to keep them informed and involved.
11. Continuously improve the Design System with new features like AG Grid, UX Writing, Mobile Responsiveness, Theming, etc.
12. Manage releases: communicate changes, ensure backward compatibility, and support transitions.
13. Support the design team in creating UI components in Figma that are ready for development.
14. Have a basic understanding of front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
15. Understand brand identity and guidelines.
16. Nice to have: Coding skills in CSS or JavaScript.

• Understanding of software development processes.
