A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in wholesale trade, and will lead a finance team to ensure strategic financial planning and risk management.
Job Descriptions:
Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and aligned with the company's objectives and market conditions.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis, providing insights for management decision-making.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, assess financial performance, identify trends, and present findings to senior management for strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
Identify financial risks, assess their potential impact, and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash positions to support operational needs and ensure financial stability.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, oversee tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to maintain accurate and timely compliance.
Review and analyze ROI and other key financial ratios for major investment proposals based on data prepared by other departments.
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth, ensuring adherence to financial policies, and maintaining a high standard of financial discipline.
Work closely with other departments such as sales, procurement, and operations to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and optimize overall company performance.
Perform tasks as assigned by Superior.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the wholesale trade industry or related sectors.
Strong financial analysis, strategic planning, and forecasting skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree or CPA qualification preferred).
5 to 8 years in finance or accounting, with at least a few years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
