Job description

What the role is:

As a Lecturer, your contributions go beyond teaching and facilitating learning. You will play a critical role in recognising and nurturing your students' potential and their lifelong learning needs.

What you will be working on:

In addition to your teaching duties, you will develop curriculum and assessments, and carry out consultancy and industry projects to stay relevant in the evolving industry. You will also connect and maintain industry partnership links to provide opportunities for student internships and staff attachments. Additionally, teaching staff are expected to perform student development and guidance.

What we are looking for:

You should be proficient in related disciplines and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the video production industry, with the following attributes:

• Highly versed in assembling and operating current digital cine camera equipment
• Proficient in cinematography for location and movie set production
• Experienced in operating production grip equipment and rigging
• Experience in producing various short-form and long-form videos, such as corporate, training, marketing, multi-camera, event, social media, and multimedia content
• Ability to coordinate and manage all aspects of video production from concept to delivery, including pitching, story development, scripting, budgeting, logistics, technical production, and team communication
• Studio production knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient in photo and video editing tools
• Location audio recording knowledge is an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Teaching experience is an advantage
• Team player
