Resident Physician (Infectious Diseases)

As a Resident Physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases, you will perform clinical duties at both the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). Your responsibilities include providing care to outpatients and inpatients, supervised by senior doctors. The role involves diverse activities such as ID consults, ward patient care, outpatient consultations at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic J, Travel Clinic, and Screening Centre, tailored to your interests and the department's needs. Additional responsibilities may include medical education, quality improvement, and research, which can be customized based on your preferences.

Requirements:

  • Active clinical practice
  • Recognized medical degree registered with the Singapore Medical Council
  • Postgraduate medical qualifications (e.g., MRCP) are preferred but not mandatory
  • At least 3 years of local post-housemanship experience or 5 years of post-housemanship experience in reputable local or overseas hospitals
