Job description

Edible Garden City (EGC) is a social enterprise that champions the `Grow Your Own Food' movement in Singapore. Our core focus is to create greater awareness about food sustainability and food resilience. We help drive this by sharing knowledge of edible gardens and agriculture with our clients, which comprise schools and companies within the hospitality and F&B industries.

Over the years, EGC’s efforts have been recognized through a string of local, regional and international awards. More notably, in recent years, they were conferred the 2024 Business Times-UOB Sustainability Impact Award and the 2021 President's Award for the Environment, in recognition of their efforts at promoting sustainability and doing their part for the environment.

We are looking for someone to complement and augment the Sales & Business Development team in Edible Garden City.

You would be a great fit if:
* You have a love of working with people and in nature and are passionate about making a difference to the world around us
* You are a confident communicator with a knack for pitching sales communication and a track record for generating leads
* You are self-driven, goal-oriented professional with a strong focus on social impact and food sustainability
* You are a good team player, with the desire to work with others to find effective solutions as a team

You can expect:
* To be the first touchpoint for clients, sharing our vision of a greener, more food resilient Singapore with them
* To interact professionally with key clients, understanding their needs and proposing solutions through EGC’s suite of services and offerings
* To be working with our Sales & Business Development professionals, designers, operations and programmes teams to arrive at effective solutions to meet clients’ needs whether for edible garden builds, maintenance, programming or farm produce
* To work in a warm, close-knit work environment that supports personal growth, development and balances personal, team and client priorities

You will report to the Head of Sales & Business Development.

This could be a part-time role, with 22 hours of work a week, or a full-time role, with 44 hours of work a week. We have a friendly culture and welcome folks from all walks of life!
