Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Club Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our premium Chinese cuisine restaurant and recreation club.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B and club management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-tier customer experiences.
Work Location: 5-minute walk from Clarke Quay MRT station
Start Date: February 2025
Responsibilities:
a) Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the restaurant and club run efficiently and smoothly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all areas.
- Manage inventory and procurement to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational performance.
b) Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including servers, chefs, and front-of-house personnel.
- Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during all operating hours.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development programs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
c) Customer Service
- Ensure exceptional service quality to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Address customer complaints and feedback promptly, taking proactive measures to improve satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with customers, especially VIP members, by understanding and catering to their preferences.
d) Marketing and Sales
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and events to attract patrons.
- Drive membership sales and retain existing members through engaging programs and personalized service.
e) Financial Oversight
- Monitor and manage budgets to maintain financial health and profitability.
- Analyze financial data and operational reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Work with the management team to set and achieve revenue and expense targets.
f) Menu and Event Planning
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to curate menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
- Organize and manage events such as private dining, corporate functions, and themed promotions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or club management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory control, cost management, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-end dining or club setting.
- Proficiency in English; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Outgoing personality, proactive attitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
