Ubi: Quantity Surveyor (Construction - ERSS)

We are looking for a Project Sales Engineer who manages the technical aspects of sales within a project context, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

They are responsible for technical sales and project coordination, engaging with clients, conducting site visits, and collaborating with internal teams to develop quotations and proposals. This role also involves overseeing project execution and reporting on progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with clients to determine their requirements.
  2. Plan, estimate, and manage costs including materials, equipment, and manpower.
  3. Assess and evaluate the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.
  4. Project and weigh probable risks, especially costs, associated with the project, taking proactive measures to mitigate such risks.
  5. Take-off quantities and prepare tender documents, paperwork, and contracts.
  6. Prepare and submit progress claims and follow up with payment responses.
  7. Resolve discrepancies or disputes on payment responses.
  8. Attend meetings with clients regarding contracts, claims, payments, and related matters.
  9. Prepare and submit project documents required by clients such as Risk Assessments, Method of Statements, Safe Work Procedures, and lifting plans.
  10. Participate in the company’s ISO and other certification processes.
  11. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the Director.
  12. Meet project department KPIs.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge in the ERSS field is preferred.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills are necessary for successful sales.
  • Able to identify and address technical issues that may arise during project tendering.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and keep track of details, client data, and project timelines.
  • A bachelor's degree or Diploma in construction-related engineering recognized by BCA is required.
Remuneration Details:
  • Monthly salary: $3,000 - $3,600
  • 5-day work week (8:30 am – 5:30 pm)
  • 38 days leave per year (including 14 days annual leave, 14 days sick leave, and 10 days casual leave)
  • Performance bonus for exceeding project KPIs
  • Two bonuses per year: Mid-Year Bonus (July) & Year-End Bonus (January)
