Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a key role that supports portfolio managers and focuses on monitoring portfolio performance, conducting statistical analyses, assembling and reviewing data; monitoring cash flows, maintaining target allocations, and completing ad-hoc analyses of the real estate markets in Asia Pacific. The key objectives of this role are to contribute to the successful delivery of the fund's investment strategy and to maximize risk-adjusted investment returns for the investors. The role also offers opportunities for cross-training with other functions, including asset management and acquisition, to enhance investment skill sets critical to fulfilling primary responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in financial modeling and analysis for regular fund reporting and special situations, such as supporting new private fund launches.
  • Execute documentation related to fund compliance for internal and external requirements.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly information disclosures to investors, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain financial models for private funds.
  • Support internal and external debt financing discussions, leading to successful closings, and follow up on post-closing monitoring and compliance.
  • Assist the fund management team with asset leasing and operational performance tracking.
Job Requirements
Pre-requisites
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; experience in real estate private equity investments is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analytical work.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, detail-oriented, organized, quick learner, and able to work independently with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in market and industry research related to real estate or other private equity assets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to interact effectively across functions and levels.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, depending on project demands and business needs.
