Job Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and source materials, equipment, and services from suppliers.
Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate for cost-effective procurement
Generate purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and ensure timely updates of order status in the system
Ensure POs, invoices, and delivery orders are properly documented and attached with the necessary supporting documents
Verify supplier invoices for accuracy, including quantity, unit rates, and data integrity in the procurement system
Maintain records of company assets, track usage, and support asset allocation processes
Perform filing, documentation, and other administrative tasks as required
Assist in any ad hoc duties assigned by the superior
Job Requirements:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ level qualification
1-2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction industry
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in document handling and data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with procurement systems is an advantage
Good communication and negotiation skills
