Job description

For more than 100 years, the globally active SAUTER Group, with its headquarters and a development, logistics, and marketing site in Basel (Switzerland) as well as a production site in Freiburg (Germany), has provided products, expertise, and solutions for building management and room automation over the entire building life cycle.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our organization here in Singapore to expand our offering by utilizing the latest IoT and AI technology for the Green Environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate sales activities.
  2. Manage sales through forecasting, qualification, account strategy, and planning.
  3. Identify and qualify opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  4. Design and propose BMS and Control System solutions for commercial and critical environments, including tenders.
  5. Participate in the development, presentation, and articulation of a value proposition.
  6. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales.
  7. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key influencers.
  8. Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction with our services and proposals.
  9. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends.
  10. Visit existing customers (owners, main contractors, M&E contractors, consultants, etc.) regularly for sales and market insights.
  11. Acquire new customers.
  12. Ensure proposals meet tender requirements.
  13. Ensure all documentation (proposals, etc.) are properly updated and signed.
  14. Follow up with customers regarding payments due to the company.
  15. Ensure that Letter of Award and Purchase Order contract terms are fair to the company.
  16. Participate in monthly sales meetings and provide timely reports.
  17. Ensure compliance with the company's policies and objectives, including quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety standards.
Required Skills:
  1. Proficiency with MS Office is an advantage.
  2. Good oral and written communication skills.
  3. Dynamic, self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented individual.
  4. Willingness to learn.
  5. Skillful negotiator.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  4. Only Singaporeans will be considered.
