A leading organization is seeking a Social Worker for the Befrienders For Families program. This role involves improving the lives of vulnerable children and families through case management, volunteer mobilization, and community partnerships. The Children and Youth Group (CYG) in The Salvation Army Singapore serves hundreds of vulnerable children and youth annually. Our services include preventive care, foster care, residential services, and reunification support for children returning to their families after safety concerns. POSITION: Social Worker (BFF)
RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Job
The Befrienders For Families (BFF) is a new program aimed at supporting the preservation and reunification of vulnerable children with their families.
As a Social Worker in the BFF team, you will facilitate change and improve the lives of children, youth, and their families. You will help develop and implement this befriender program to support children at risk or in foster care or children's homes.
Your role involves (i) providing professional assessment, planning, and intervention, (ii) expanding our volunteer network, and (iii) ensuring safety through effective risk management.
We seek someone with a proactive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, a passion for children and families, and the ability to connect and motivate volunteers. Experience working with clients at risk of protection issues or family violence is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:

Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Working Hours
44 hours/week, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday (with 1-hour lunch). Flexibility required.
