A leading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full sets of AP functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SAP and Excel. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, managing vendor inquiries, and supporting financial closing activities.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handle full sets of Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure timely processing of daily financial transactions and payment of vendor invoices.
3. Prepare online payments and maintain accurate payment records.
4. Manage expense reports and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers. Address vendor and inter-departmental inquiries as required.
5. Manage bank and AP reconciliations, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
6. Assist in system automation and process improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in the aviation industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUP); experience with these tools is advantageous.
