Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Draftsperson in Metal Work Structural.
• Knowledge of Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Cladding Systems, and Metal Work.

• Draft engineering and shop drawings, coordinate with project teams.
• Prepare and review sketches, maintain drawing files, and update as needed.

Job description

Drafting of engineering and shop drawings.

· Coordinate with Project Manager, Project Team, Design Team, and related personnel.

· Prepare and review rough sketches and ensure their accuracy with the Engineering team.

· Attend meetings with consultants and contractors as part of the project.

· Familiarity with 3D modeling tools is preferred.

· Maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections as directed by Section Heads or Leads.

· Coordinate drawings with Clients and Main Contractors, updating them based on meetings and discussions, in compliance with Regulation Codes and Practices.

· Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide necessary adjustments.

· Clarify and resolve problems raised by teams.

· Coordinate with team members and other disciplines.

· Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Draftsperson in Metal Work Structural.

· Knowledge of Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Cladding Systems, and Metal Work.

· At least a Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or equivalent.

· Strong communication skills with teams and subcontractors.

· 5.5-day work week (Alternate Saturdays).
