Job summary

A leading private bank in Singapore is seeking a Credit Structuring Team Lead to manage their Credit Structuring team. The role involves collaborating with Relationship Managers to provide tailored credit solutions, analyzing financial statements, and overseeing credit processes. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in private banking credit solutions and strong leadership skills. Fluency in Chinese is preferred for client communication.

Job description

Our client is a well-established private bank based in Singapore, specializes in providing a full range of products and solutions tailored for high-net-worth individuals across Asia. We are seeking a Credit Structuring Team Lead to oversee the Credit Structuring team. In this role, you will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to address clients' financing requirements and support their long-term investment objectives.

Job Description:

  • Supervise and manage the Credit Structuring team.
  • Educate RMs on selected credit products and collaborate with RMs on client visits to present suitable credit solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Assist in preparing and structuring new and renewal credit cases, ensuring all documents are completed and approved.
  • Analyze financial statements and review credit and collateral products, offering suggestions to improve lending processes and guidelines.
  • Ensure end-to-end management of all credit-related matters, including timely credit reviews and maintaining accurate ratings
  • Support platform improvements for credit processes.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Private Banking Credit Solutions & Structuring.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Law.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Private Banking Credit Approver and in assessing corporate/individual distressed credit.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • A team player, and independent, with the ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Chinese speaking is preferred as the role is required to communicate in this language with Chinese speaking clients.
