Responsibilities

• Assists lead art instructors during classes and workshops.

• Help with classroom setup and cleanup.

• Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles, and effectively teach students how to use them to express their ideas and emotions.

• Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and other art forms.

• Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and collaboration among students.

• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' artwork, helping them identify areas of improvement and celebrating their achievements.

• Ensure a safe and orderly art classroom environment, following appropriate safety guidelines and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Like engaging with children and have experience handling children in group settings .

• Passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic growth in students.

• Enthusiastic individual that has initiative, high adaptability

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of studio.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.

• Able to converse in English and/or Mandarin (as will need to liaise with student and/or parents who speaks in mandarin)

Work Hours

• Wednesday to Friday: 1PM - 8PM
