The Private & Future Mobility Division oversees the development of private transport policies, including vehicles, roads, and active mobility. It is also responsible for strategies to prepare the MOT Family for future mobility challenges and opportunities, especially in sustainability, research and development, and inter-modal connectivity. The Division coordinates strategic planning and transformation work across the MOT Family. As part of the team, your responsibilities include:
You should be a Singapore citizen, preferably with prior experience in public policy, research, futures, consulting, or public sector roles related to strategy or policy analysis, particularly in transport or infrastructure. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, handle qualitative and quantitative information, and analyze their impact on Singapore’s transport landscape is essential.

Besides providing efficient and cost-effective transportation, the ministry aims to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime hub for the region. Strategic and policy directions are set by the ministry, while operations and regulatory functions are carried out by statutory boards under its charge, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB) also operates under the ministry.
