Job Description & Requirements:
Responsibilities include:
- Review civil & structural working drawings and shop drawings in connection with SEM and steel structure shop drawings during the pre-construction phase. Prepare construction methods, identify risks, and develop strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate them.
- Organize regular meetings with the subcontractor's technical teams to resolve technical problems during pre-construction and construction phases.
- Collaborate closely with the design team and LTA/QPS (client) to resolve execution issues, providing functional proposals supported by presentations or sketches.
- Prepare method statements for construction works, including risk assessments (RA) and safe work procedures (SWP).
- Prepare RFIs for site inspections related to construction, MPI tests, welding works, and post-concrete works. Participate in site inspections with QP.
- Review rebar BBS prepared by subcontractors in compliance with standards and shop drawings for roof slabs, steel structures, and corbel details for precast installation.
- Supervise the construction of structures such as pile caps, underground tanks, base slabs, high-rise columns (~12m), including corbels, RC beams, capping beams, RC and PC beam connections, ramps, steel and RC struts, hanging sumps, and staircases.
- Review and supervise site work related to surface water drainage and waterproofing shop drawings.
- Assist the construction manager in planning and preparing daily progress reports.
- Track and optimize manpower for each activity.
- Prepare conceptual drawings for steel decking or other temporary structures on-site. Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors and supervise site installation.
- Review conceptual drawings and supervise the installation of bracing connections between permanent plunge-in columns for top-down column construction.
- Review subcontractors' shop drawings for steel struts and supervise installation work.
