Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Leadership experience within a quota-carrying team, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
  • Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), productivity, or collaboration technology solutions to clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with people and business management, supporting career development of a high-performing sales team and business growth.
  • Experience in planning and organizing go-to-market strategies, business programs, and sales activities within your team and territory.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to impact business goals, customer experience, and customer expansion.
  • Experience developing product and solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
  • Experience supporting Greater China and Korean clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant products, solutions, and market trends, with analytical skills to analyze sales performance data or market changes to drive strategic decisions.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for growing our Productivity, Collaboration, and AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Field Sales, Customer Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product) and customers, supporting the team to do the same. You will ensure your team is equipped to drive change and help customers leverage AI in the future of work, providing comprehensive overviews of key business use cases to close business. You will support a positive, high-performing, and inclusive team culture, leading with empathy and identifying innovative ways to multiply the team’s impact to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a positive and high-performing team culture, supporting your team to drive pipeline, manage business cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding, and meet and exceed business goals.
  • Implement go-to-market strategies to scale and impact your business in key areas, including new customer growth, customer expansion, retention, and generating customer references.
  • Partner with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering to understand customer needs, influence messaging and collateral, and ensure excellent prospect and customer experiences.
  • Expand relationships to influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a trusted advisor to your team and their accounts.
  • Represent the business in forecasts, town halls, and meetings. Report forecasts and business performance using Salesforce and other tools.
