Project Engineer

This position is for a Project Engineer located in Singapore, part of the Digital Energy, Digital Building Application Center team. The project team is committed to delivering quality and professionalism to satisfy our customers' expectations. In this role, you will identify customer needs, explore opportunities for enhancements, and suggest the best designs to effectively deliver projects to our clients.

What will you do?

Responsibilities

1. Full ownership and responsibility of the success of small to mid-size projects.
2. Identifying variation orders, such as identifying and interpreting customer change requests.
3. Project progress tracking and reporting to customers and management in a timely manner, including submittal/approval, cost, schedule, manpower, procurement, and quality issue updates.
4. Cost control: monitor, forecast, and ensure delivery of financial commitments, costs, revenues, and invoices to meet company sales forecasts.
5. Attend customer meetings, follow up on customer inquiries, requests, and areas of concern, providing prompt and positive feedback with solutions; plan work schedules for the projects under your responsibility.
6. Support Project Manager in large/complex project situations when required.
7. Conduct up to REL3 reviews with stakeholders confidently and provide accurate data.
8. Conduct on-time project reviews with Project Leader with accurate updates of SGV.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Education

1. Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related degree. PMI Certification preferred.

Job Related Experience

1. 3 – 5 years of working experience.
2. Project management in system integration and building management systems or ACMV systems.

Business Understanding

1. BMS, mechanical, and ACMV control.
