Job description

The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Process Automation SEAPT Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager SEAPT, you will play a key role in supporting all overall finance activities such as but not limited to closing, reporting, treasury, tax and finance related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of management accounts of IMI Ventures Singapore Pte Ltd.
  • Support and assist in a portfolio of Singapore entities for month end closing.
  • Review payment proposals and vouchers for a portfolio of entities handled by SEAPT Finance.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations for a portfolio of entities handled by SEAPT Finance.
  • Perform posting approval in IFS for cashbook transactions.
  • Handle annual ICD submissions and requirements.
  • Manage General Assurance Audit.
  • Drive audit and statutory requirements and reviews by the internal/external auditors including preparation of supporting schedules and audited accounts.
  • Handle corporate tax filing, transfer pricing analysis and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.

What We are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position with external audit experience preferably with Big 4 audit companies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset, initiative, strong planning and organisation skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing is required.Other languages are a plus, not required
  • Ability to work independently and under time constraints, to a high degree of accuracy
