The Role

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the Junior Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering a first-class service to our international group. Based at our office in Singapore you will support team members across the group to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in our Far East divisions. Key responsibilities will include:

· Aid the regional FC with monthly management accounts;

· Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis and producing any required reports;

· Assist with the preparation monthly payroll. This includes:

o Allocating overtime payments, allowance payments and bonus & pension schemes.

o Liaising closely with employees on payroll issues/queries

· Assisting the sales administrator in reviewing orders and ensuring all sales invoices have been raised.

· Assist with weekly payment run. This includes preparing a list of due payments and liaising closely with suppliers to address queries.

· Fixed Asset register maintenance and assisting with Capex analysis and reporting;

· Intercompany reconciliations;

· Balance Sheet reconciliations;

· Assisting Regional Financial Controller with Cashflow forecasting and reporting;

· Assist with audit for group management accounts

· Timely contact with customers to ensure balances are paid on time and in full and complete customer surveys as required;

· Ad-hoc project work and duties as and when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

· Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 1-year PQE; or Part Qualified Accountant

· Advanced MS Excel capability with proven experience of data management and analysis.

· Must know written & spoken - English, Cantonese and spoken – Mandarin.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the Microsoft office suite.
  • Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.

Desirable

· Preference for CPA or CIMA qualification with 1sttime passes;

· Trained in a Big-4 environment
