TheSenior Finance Manageris responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and will be accountable for all aspects of the compliance reporting requirements for the company within the Accounts department. They will plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate the financial and accounting activities within the business units within the company as well as external stakeholders for compliance requirements. They are responsible for improving the performance, productivity, and efficiency of the finance area through the provision of effective methods, processes, and strategies. As part of this role, they will also coordinate shared services operations to ensure that they are efficiently and effectively provided with finance services.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts, & operational finance duties under a shared services model.
- Financial Due Diligence and Regulatory Compliances
- Maintain and improve Internal Controls, accounting processes, policies & procedures, timeliness.

- Excellent analytical capabilities to ensure timely and appropriate resolution in a proactive manner.
Main Tasks
Accounts & Operations:
- Manage accounting operations, Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Check and endorse/approve payments/invoices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Prepare and submit all government required submissions within the reporting period (e.g. corporate tax, tax clearance, GST, SST, WHT etc).
- Review and analyse data entries posted. Closing full set of accounts with monthly MIS statements including consolidation of subsidiary accounts to parent company.
- Ensure intercompany transactions are reconciled between subsidiaries and related parties.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports. Prepare/review MIS reports (Balance sheets accounts with all supporting schedules).
- Monitor & manage billing, collections, expense tracking, and the related overall processes with accuracy.
- Monitor and operate cash flow and budgeting. Monitor bank balance and fund flow and arrange for fund requirements
- Lead and supervise accounting staff. Co-ordinate with Auditors, Tax Lawyers, tax authorities, and other such external stakeholders.
- Working with relevant teams to review monthly payroll calculations for local/overseas staff, support processing payroll and related reports.
- Monitor and set control environment for the revenue and cost matching management.
- Ensure budget vs. actual tracking, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Budget and financial management to ensure that teams complete projects according to estimated budgets and to oversee the company’s financial performance.
- Support strategic financial planning and providing advisory for business decisions.
- Any ad hoc tasks (e.g. providing financial info, supplier setup on client database, bank forms, liaise with corp sec for corporate documents etc.)
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with required taxation laws while identifying strategic approaches to address tax-related challenges.
- Apply tax knowledge for applications to transaction and propose optimizations.
- Possess hands-on knowledge of accounting, taxation, and consolidation with exposure.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-cultural teams and stakeholders across regions.
Internal Controls:
- Lead continuous process and system improvements.
- Identify and implementation of enhancements to the financial reporting process.
- Identify bottlenecks, areas for improvement and developing quick solutions to prevent project delays.
- Maintain accurate and secure financial records in compliance with regulations.
- Enforce adherence to financial policies and company guidelines.

Required Skills/Experience:
- A degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or an MBA or CPA certification.
- 7+ years of professional experience in Finance.
- Strong CPA knowledge with solid exposure to regional accounting work.
- Proven leadership experience in developing and coaching teams.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations.
