We are seeking an experienced finance and business intelligence leader to drive the design, implementation, and management of global reporting and BI landscape. This role requires a professional who can bring deep expertise in accounting, controlling, financial processes, and business intelligence to establish a standardized, efficient, and scalable reporting framework.

The ideal candidate is a strong project manager and strategic thinker who understands the complexities of financial reporting, consolidation, and performance management. This role involves close collaboration with C-level executives, finance teams, and IT departments to ensure that reporting and BI solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting Framework Development & Implementation
• Lead the design and implementation of a standardized reporting framework, ensuring alignment of financial data and reporting processes across all business units.
• Establish reporting and dashboard guidelines, key performance indicators (KPIs), and governance models to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Define and enforce best practices for financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting ensuring consistency with corporate accounting and controlling standards.
• Develop BI governance frameworks to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance of existing BI implementations.

Business Intelligence Strategy & Full-Scale Implementation

• Integrate financial and operational data into a centralized platform, providing real-time access to key business metrics.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new BI reporting landscape, ensuring seamless integration with financial reporting frameworks.
• Design and develop scalable, automated, and user-friendly BI applications, optimizing data models and reporting solutions.
• Oversee the selection, customization, and deployment of BI tools, including SAP BI, SAP BW, S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Power BI.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of reporting and BI transformation projects, from strategy and framework definition to implementation and adoption.
• Serve as a bridge between finance, IT, and executive leadership to ensure reporting and BI solutions align with business and compliance requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to define reporting needs, establish data governance policies, and determine financial performance metrics.
• Develop and execute a change management strategy to support the adoption of new reporting and BI tools across corporate-wide teams.
• Lead a team of business intelligence professionals to design and implement advanced reporting solutions.
• Provide training and guidance on financial reporting standards, BI best practices, and new system implementations.
• Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing to enhance reporting efficiency and alignment across departments.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, and business intelligence within a global professional services organization. Big 4 experience preferred.
• Proven expertise in project management, leading large-scale financial reporting and BI transformation initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial processes, including financial planning & analysis, cost controlling, budgeting, and compliance.
• Extensive experience with SAP BI, SAP BW, S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Microsoft Power BI, and other financial reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, collaborating closely with C-level executives to develop enterprise-wide reporting solutions.
• Data-driven mindset with expertise in creating reporting frameworks and guidelines to drive standardization and compliance across the organization.
• Skilled in managing multicultural teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
• Passionate about AI, automation, and the future of finance & business intelligence, continuously exploring emerging technologies to enhance reporting capabilities.
