Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant sourcing experience in mechanical materials.
• Ability to interpret mechanical-based drawings.

our client is a global industrial solutions provider known for their engineering expertise. We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer to support the Manager in day-to-day sourcing activities including vendors, and mechanical parts.

*This position is on a one-year renewable contract.

• work closely with the Sourcing Manager to source and identify mechanical materials and vendors including quotations, proposals and bidding.
• look into spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
• liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders
• communicate and conduct meetings with counterparts based in Mainland China.
