Our client is an established fund services with a strong track record in the region. Their clients are mainly alternative funds such as private equity, venture capital, private credit funds etc, and they provide a range of services such as fund accounting, compliance, portfolio monitoring services to them. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Director, Legal and Compliance and the position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with senior management to review and negotiate legal documents for the firm’s overseas business expansion and other business initiatives
• Provide legal and compliance advisory to the management
• Review and advise on legal documents to align with the firm’s business direction and ensure regulatory requirements
• Review vendor agreements and other operational agreements to mitigate legal risks
• Work with compliance / AML / KYC team to support the service to clients
• Provide compliance support such as policy reviews and updates
• Other ad-hoc tasks related to legal and compliance
