Job Description

Technical Trainer, Computed Tomography (CT) Asia

The Technical Trainer will deliver technical training and education related to the installation and maintenance of all available Philips Computed Tomography (CT) systems to Philips Field Service Engineers and equivalent non-Philips Engineers. The Philips CT system families include: Brilliance, Ingenuity, iCT, IQon, Spectral CT7500, and the 'Family One' systems (MX16, Access CT, CT3500, Incisive CT, CT5300).

Your Role
  • Provide effective and professional training experiences in multiple environments (virtual, classroom, laboratory).
  • Take ownership of the trainee experience and safety.
  • Deliver engaging presentations using interactive tools, whether in person or online.
  • Foster communication among trainees, encouraging teamwork and creating a safe learning environment.
  • Contribute to the design, development, review, implementation, and evaluation of training courses and materials, following QMS directives and processes.
  • Provide feedback and evaluate trainee performance throughout training sessions, and recommend improvements.
  • Utilize appropriate materials, support systems, technical methods, learning management systems, and assessment techniques.
  • Adhere to company style, standards, policies, and procedures related to quality and business systems.

The Service Education team within the CT/AMI Business Unit at Philips Healthcare, reporting to the CT/AMI Campus Delivery Manager in the Netherlands, and collaborating with Instructional Designers, content developers, and engineers.

You're likely the right fit if you possess
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Science, Physics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or ICT.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in CT or similar industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience in didactical training and virtual classroom delivery is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5%.
How we work together

We value teamwork and flexibility. Office-based roles require at least 3 days per week onsite. Onsite roles are in company facilities, while field roles are at customer or supplier locations.
