OpenText ECM Technical Consultant

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide assistance and support with OpenText ECM technical related issues to the customers.
2. Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
3. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
4. Produce Technical and Operational documentation.
5. Experience in preparing project deliverables such as OpenText ECM Technical Design Document, etc.
6. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication skills in both written and oral with cross-cultural competence.
8. Provide support.
9. Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
10. Provide assistance and support to the customers for the Security Vulnerabilities issues.
11. Interact with project team to understand the requirements and help define solutions to address the client’s needs.

Job Qualifications/ Skills Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, or similar field or equivalent in a technical field.
2. Candidate must be an OpenText certified resource.
3. Minimally 6+ years of working experience in design and architecture of OpenText ECM project implementation.
4. Good knowledge in OpenText Development (Content Webservice and Rest API).
5. Knowledge in Java or .NET programming preferred.
6. Working experience of one or more supporting technologies: Windows Servers, Unix Networking, and Databases.
7. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proficient in techniques for performance testing and tuning RDBMS query performance.
9. Technical knowledge of Storage, Network, and Compute (Windows, UNIX, Linux) environments.
10. Sound knowledge on application sizing and fair knowledge on HW infra.
11. Good understanding of internet protocols, network, and application security methods.
