Company is a leading food ingredients manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Senior Food Technologist to innovate the flour products formulation and become a potential leader.
Responsibilities
Product Development: Brainstorming and developing products for flour application, bread improver, bakery premixes, and ingredients.
Technical Expertise: Conduct experiments and evaluate materials and work on enzyme application on wheat-based products.
Customer Engagement: Provide on-site technical support, promote products through trials, deliver technical presentations, and training courses.
Market Research: Evaluate product suitability for the Asian market, observe industry trends, and suggest innovative solutions.
Innovation Leadership: Offer ideas for new product development and localization while staying updated on relevant technical advancements.
Collaboration & Support: Supervise the Product Stewardship team and deliver results to clients and distributors as needed.
Job Requirements
Degree in Food Science/Technology.
Minimum 6 to 10 years of professional experience in R&D roles focusing on flour-based product applications, bakery premixes, or bread improver formulation.
Preferably with a background in the Flour/Bakery industry.
A solution-driven mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with enzyme applications is a plus.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English required.
Hands-on baking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
