Company Background:

The company engages in PV products R&D, manufacture and sales; PV projects development, EPC, O&M; smart micro-grid and multi-energy complementary systems development and sales, as well as energy cloud-platform operation. On 10 June 2020, Trinasolar issues first A-Shares on Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Board, becomes the first PV product, PV system and smart energy company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board, also known as the STAR MARKET.

Job Descriptions:

  • Lead the APAC BESS sales team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management to ensure high-performing sales operations across the region.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets for BESS products in the APAC region.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, including utility companies, project developers, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, competitive landscape, and potential new markets in the energy storage sector.
  • Explore and develop new markets within the APAC region to drive business growth and increase market presence.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop promotional materials and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Represent Trina Solar at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the energy storage or renewable energy industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is a plus to liaise with Chinese counterparties.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and developing new markets.
  • Strong understanding of battery energy storage systems and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the APAC region.
