A progressive and growing bank in Asia offering commercial & corporate banking solutions to its clients. The bank has an approved headcount in their Credit Risk team.

About the job

  • Evaluate, provide recommendations, and approve credit applications across different segments of the bank, flagging and mitigating potential credit risk issues.
  • Review and evaluate credit risk gradings; justify rejections and suggest alternative resolutions.
  • Adhere to delegated and product limits, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on market, business, and industry trends; handle related operational aspects.
  • Attend client meetings with relevant representatives from different business units, gather information to understand their needs, and structure credit solutions.

About the team

Skills and experience required

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance, or Economics.
  • At least 10 years of credit risk experience in Corporate/SME banking.
  • Strong knowledge in credit underwriting and financial analysis, including interpreting financial statements and basic financial accounting.
  • Sound knowledge of credit-related regulations.
