A leading company in event management is seeking a dedicated professional to manage client relationships and coordinate events. The role involves generating new business, crafting proposals, and overseeing event logistics while ensuring client satisfaction. Ideal candidates should possess strong sales skills, creativity, and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the company, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of client needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients to foster long-term partnerships
2. Sales and Business Development
- Generate new business by identifying leads, pursuing new client opportunities, and presenting event solutions that align with client objectives and goals.
- Upsell or cross-sell services based on client needs and market trends.
3. Proposal and Contract Management
- Crafting tailored proposals and presenting to client, followed by timely follow-up to close deals within tight deadlines.
- Negotiate terms and ensure all agreements are fulfilled according to client expectations and contractual terms.
4. Event Coordination & Planning
- Collaborate with the internal event management team and vendors to ensure client requirements are met.
- Oversee event logistics, timelines and budgets to ensure everything runs smoothly.
5. Budget and Financial Management
- Ensure project is kept within budget, while providing creative event solutions.
6. Market Analysis & Reporting
- Track fellow industry players’ activities.
- Keep abreast with the latest emerging trends, market activities and development in the Events industry.
- Provide clients with regular updates and reports on event status.
Skills:
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong sales acumen to pitch event ideas and negotiate contracts
- Competent in Sales Presentations to a big group of people
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple clients and events
- Able to think outside the box and provide creative solutions
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Computer savvy and proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Words / Excel / Powerpoint)
